LAV se significa por ser un puente entre el cine experimental y el audiovisual del arte contemporáneo. Entre el cine experimental de festivales y el cine instalado y performativo de galerías.

LAV es un espacio para pensar el cine.

Es dónde toma vida&#38;nbsp;MASTER.LAV un programa articulado en una doble dirección: como espacio de creación de nuevas formas audiovisuales, y como ventana y lugar de conocimiento del audiovisual contemporáneo, con especial foco en propuestas de carácter experimental. Actualmente estamos preparando la X edición. 
En los últimos años hemos sumado una sección importante como FILMLAV. Un laboratorio de revelado desde el que haremos diferentes talleres en 16mm. FILMLAV es el único laboratorio de revelado en 16mm en Madrid y queremos que sea un punto de conexión fundamental de cineastas trabajando en 16mm y 8mm en Madrid así como todos los que visiten la ciudad.

	Con la idea de promover y ayudar lo más posible a la creación de espacios y filmaciones que experimenten y apuesten por el fotoquímico iniciamos un servicio de alquileres tanto de cámaras de 16mm como de proyectores de todos los formatos.El alquiler de proyectores puede ser, para proyecciones puntuales, también en calidad de proyeccionistas si la ocasión lo necesita. Además de cámaras y proyectores tenemos muchos otros accesorios ya sean para la filmación o en etapas posteriores. 

Hacemos tambien revelados para proyectos por los que sintamos afinidad a nuestras lineas de investigación fílmica. &#38;nbsp;

En este PDF tenemos una lista que iremos poco a poco actualizando con todas las herramientas analógicas.&#38;nbsp;
El alquiler está supeditado a que quienes lo contraten tengan conocimientos previos. Es posible que para algunos alquileres tengamos que hacer un test previo, o hacer alguna clase que pueda asegurarnos de que se usarán correctamente.

MASTER.LAV es un programa único en sus apuestas y propuestas de carácter experimental y en la búsqueda de ensanchar los límites del lenguaje audiovisual.


El Master se articula a través de continuos talleres y prácticas, a los que se suman los proyectos y deseos artísticos de los participantes del máster y cuyos procesos y progresos se van poniendo en común en el aula.
 

Desde la prácticas del ensayo y el error y recordando a Baldessari quien decía que el arte nace del error y que a partir de ellos podemos llegar a lugares insólitos y a inciertas carreteras que no están señalizadas.&#38;nbsp;
 

No creemos por tanto en métodos concretos pero sí en procedimientos personales y procesos adaptados a cada idea, que amplíen los horizontes y creen nuevas formas de pensar y crear.


Una de las líneas maestras del Máster es el fomento de la capacidad de análisis, enfoque crítico y compromiso artístico que queremos insuflar en lxs participantes. Queremos que tomen poder en las clases y no tengan miedo a la experimentación constante. Que se tomen en serio la tarea de crear imágenes y sonidos en la actualidad.

SESIONESMASTER.LAV cuenta con la participación de numerosos artistas y profesionales reconocidos en distintos campos del audiovisual, que compartirán su experiencia y sus aprendizajes. 
Los contenidos del Máster están abiertos y en estrecha relación a los intereses que cada grupo genera. 
Especial prioridad al descubrimiento de referencias dentro del cine experimental, así como los constantes trasvases multidisciplinares del audiovisual, sus contactos con el arte sonoro, con la literatura experimental, con el arte contemporáneo en general.TALLERES
Prácticas intensivas con prestigiosxs artistas que acercarán sus modus operandi a lxs alumnxs. Con particular enfasis en procesos fílmicos con talleres de filmación en 16mm, de revelado y talleres de cine sin cámara.
CARTAS BLANCAS
Másterclass de cineastas, artistas, expertxs. Una de las señas de identidad del Máster es esta sección, donde cada año acuden multitud de artistas desvelando procesos y pasiones particulares.
LABORATORIO CONTÍNUOLo teórico se revela a través de la práctica constante de ejercicios audiovisuales que se presentarán y pondrán en común en las clases. No hay miedo al error. Es la única forma de "acertar".

Cada alumnx desarrollará múltiples piezas a lo largo del año. Tanto prácticas rápidas, realizados durante los talleres de LAV, como otros proyectos/deseos que se compartan durante el año del curso. Estos trabajos son exhibidos tanto en sala cinematográfica como en espacio galerísticos.&#38;nbsp;
SCREENING ROOM
Sala de proyección crítica donde ampliar y apoyar contenidos de las sesiones y poder ver obras fundamentales del cine experimental y obras acabadas o en curso de alumnxs y exalumnxs. 
Abrir ventanas a nuevos modos de producción artística.
ACCIONES / GESTOSNo se viene solo a escuchar, se viene a hacer.
Y tanto las "acciones" como los “Gestos fílmicos” son las formas más literales de este espíritu. Se trata de sesiones libres en las que lxs participantes crean y diseñan los contenidos desde una óptica práctica.

16MMEn el recorrido del máster se da especial prioridad al medio fílmico; tanto en el descubrimiento de autorxs trabajando en 16mm como en las propias prácticas del alumnx con este formato.


En LAV disponemos de un espacio de revelado en 16mm y en 8mm y de todas las herramientas para hacer un proceso fílmico integral.

Propiciar la creatividad a través de la experimentación constante y la aportación de lxs artistas.

Conocer otro panorama del audiovisual, más libre y heterodoxo. Encontrar ejemplo e inspiración en los procesos de artistas que trabajan al margen de la industria y en total comunicación con otras disciplinas.

 
MASTER.LAV es un espacio para pensar el cine; un laboratorio de nuevas formas.


	Dirigido a tituladxs universitarixs (Comunicación Audiovisual, Bellas Artes, Publicidad, Periodismo, Diseño, filosofía... ) que busquen potenciar sus habilidades creativas en un programa  teórico-práctico intensivo.
 Estudiantes que han finalizado recientemente ciclos formativos o posgrados en el área audiovisual y quieran desarrollar sus propios proyectos.
 Artistas de cualquier campo que quieren introducir la herramienta vídeo/cine en sus obras y proyectarse en el campo audiovisual.

Lunes, martes, miércoles y jueves.*&#38;gt;De 10:00 a 14:00.Horas de clase lectivas: 502 horas.

Del 12 de octubre de 2026 a 27 de junio 2027.* Algunas actividades se hacen en horarios de tarde o en fin de semana, como por ejemplo el

 SCREENING LAV , programa regular de cine de vanguardia en la sala del Cine Estudio del Círculo de Bellas Artes, programadas en su totalidad por lxs alumnxs, que asumen todos los aspectos asociados a la curaduría, tanto la selección de las piezas, como el proceso de investigación y creación de un contexto cuidado en el que proyectarlas. 

** El espacio de LAV esta a disposición de lxs alumnxs tres dias a la semana por las tardes. En los que pueden hacer trabajos de revelado, proyectar, o cualquier tarea de creación/investigaciónl*** El Máster es una experiencia intensa y bella, que precisa de una alta dedicación. Fuera de las aulas hay que hacer muchas horas de investigación, lectura y creación.

INTRO AL CINE EN 16MM
	
En tiempos de imágenes excesivas y de liquidez digital la ‘tecnología’ analógica es la vía de recuperar el aura de las imágenes, volver a dotarlas de peso y retomar una mirada artesana. INTRO AL CINE EN 16MM propone un acercamiento práctico e inmersivo al cine en 16mm.
 En el taller aprenderemos a filmar con cámaras Bolex así como a revelar los resultados de forma artesanal.
 Enfocado a un cine personal, veremos muchos aspectos propios del cine de vanguardia tales como el montaje en cámara o las múltiples acciones (dobles y multiples sobreimpresionados, rebobinados, uso de filtros, de máscaras, filmación cuadro a cuadro...) que la Bolex permite.
 
El taller sirve por tanto como iniciación al uso de la Bolex, así como de perfeccionamiento en algunos de sus procedimientos para aquellxs que ya estén familiarizados con este tipo de cámaras y quieran sacar el mayor partido creativo de ella.
 

Para el taller se usan varios equipos de filmación (Cámaras Bolex) y película en color Ektachrome.
“Las cámaras no hacen films. Los cineastas hacen films. Mejora tus films no añadiendo más equipo y personal sino usando lo que tienes a su total capacidad. La parte más importante de tu equipo eres tú mismo. Tu cuerpo móvil, tu mente imaginativa, y tu libertad para usar ambos. Asegúrate de usarlos.”&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;
